Imran Khan’s sisters, PTI leaders stage sit-in after denied entry in Adiala Jail

PTI founder’s sisters and legal team were not allowed to meet Imran Khan in Adiala Jail on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan and Slaman Akram Raja and all PTI workers and leaders were stopped at the factory checkpoint and they were not allowed to reach Adiala Jail. 

Resultantly, former PM  Imran Khan’s sisters and legal team including Salman Akram Raja, Aun Abbas Bappi, Shandana Gulzar, Naeem Panjotha, Meena Khan Afridi and Shaukat Basra and others stage sit-in at the checkpoint. 

Meanwhile, Khyber Paktunkhawa spokesperson Shafi Jan has said that PTI leadership was once again denied meeting with Imran Khan in Adiala Jail by jail authorities, adding that it is alarming that since 4 December 20205, Imran Jhan was being denied meeting with lawyers and family members which is against the basic human right. 

Talking to media, KP government spokesperson said that Toshakhana II verdict was a question mark on the judicial process. He said a 59-page verdict handed over to a junior lawyer is a joke. 

He said that negotiations talks start only when the PTI movement gains momentum. He said CM Sohail Afridi was leading the street movement, his performance is commendable. 

KP government spokesperson said curfew-like situation was created during PTI activities in Lahore. Shops closed in Lunda Bazaar were closed and cases were filed against 80 supporters. He said CM Afridi was not allowed to carry out free political activities.
