Islamabad court extends Imran Khan’s interim bail in 15 cases to July 18

Interim bails of Shah Farman, Shahram Tarakai also approved

A court in Islamabad Wednesday granted exemption to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan from personal appearance and extended his interim bail to July 18 next in the 15 cases that had been registered against him over allegations of arson and vandalism in the federal capital during the PTI’s long march, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Imran Khan did not appear before the court. On his behalf, his lawyer came and adopted before the court that Imran Khan could not appear before the court, for his life was in danger.

The court granted exemption to Imran Khan from personal appearance and extended his interim bail in 15 cases to July 18, 2022.

Similarly, an Islamabad court also granted interim bails to former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) governor Shah Farman and KP Minister Shahram Khan Tarakai in the case of arson and vandalism in the federal capital during the PTI’s long march.

The court granted interim bails to both the PTI leaders over submission of surety bonds of Rs5,000 each.
