‘22 follows Dua Lipa everywhere’: Pop star shares vacation snaps from Spain
Global pop sensation Dua Lipa is soaking up the sun in Spain and sparking intrigue with the number 22.
The singer shared a series of summer vacation photos on Instagram with the caption: “My lucky 22 that follows me everywhere.”
Among the images, one showed her sitting near a door marked with the number 22, striking a relaxed pose while smoking. The post, which includes four snapshots, captures Dua in full vacation mode.
Fresh off her successful Radical Optimism tour, the Levitating hitmaker is treating herself to a few well-earned days of rest and sunshine.
Dua exudes calm, confidence, and glamour. Her look has once again affirmed her status as both a music icon and a fashion inspiration.
While fans across the globe continue to cheer her tour, Albanian fans are counting down to her highly anticipated return to Kosovo in August, where she will headline the Sunny Hill Festival in Pristina.
Her father, Dukagjin Lipa organised the event. The performance promises to be one of the summer’s biggest musical highlights, especially given Dua’s deep personal connection to her hometown.
Last month, Dua Lipa delivered a night to remember at Wembley Stadium, surprising her fans by bringing out iconic 90s band Jamiroquai during her electrifying performance.
The 29-year-old pop sensation wowed the 90,000-strong audience in a dazzling diamante bodysuit, marking a major milestone in her career by performing at the iconic venue just like her idol Madonna.
Fans erupted in excitement as Jamiroquai's frontman, Jay Kay, 55, made a dramatic entrance on stage wearing his signature black hat with a purple trim, purple trousers, and a white fringe jacket. Together, Dua and Jay performed the band’s classic hit Virtual Insanity, much to the crowd’s delight.
“She brought out Jamiroquai! She did that for me,” a fan posted online, while another said, “Just saw Dua Lipa bring Jamiroquai out at Wembley. Some months and I haven’t even got to Glasto yet.”
The performance was a full-circle moment for Dua, whose first UK gig nine years ago was held at a modest 375-capacity venue in Hackney.
Her meteoric rise continues to draw comparisons with the Queen of Pop, Madonna, as she cements her place among music’s elite.
