Youm-e-Ashur being observed with devotion, religious reverence

In the memory of sacrifices rendered by Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), the grandson of Hazrat Mohammad (peace be upon him), zuljinnah, alam, and taboot processions have been taken out in different parts of the country today to mark Youm-e-Ashur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Youm-e-Ashur, the 10th of Muharram-ul-Haram, is being observed with due solemnity, devotion, religious reverence and respect to pay homage to the supreme sacrifice rendered by Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his devoted companions in Karbala centuries ago.

The unmatched sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions conveyed a powerful message of protecting the true spirit of Islam.

Mourning processions were taken out in all cities and towns of the country to remember this eternal martyrdom of the grandson of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

Ulema and Zakireen highlighted the bright and candid teachings of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and various aspects of the Karabla tragedy.

In Lahore, the main procession of 10th Muharram has been taken out from Nisar Haveli Mochi Gate and is on its way to Karbala Gamay Shah after passing through its traditional routes.

The participants of the procession are chanting “Yah Hussain” slogans.

In Karachi, the main procession of 10th Muharram has taken out from Nishtar Park.

The main processions have also been taken out in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Peshawar besides other cities.

In Quetta, the main procession of 10th Moharram has been taken out from Alamdar Road. 

Majalis Sham-e-Ghariban will be held in different imambarghas after the conclusion of the main procession.

In all big and small cities of the country, Moharram processions are on their traditional way and will conclude at their specific location.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made across the country to maintain law and order and avoid any untoward incident during the mourning processions.

Mourning processions in Punjab

In Lahore, Majlis-e-Aza has been held at 145-A Model Town followed by a procession. 

Syed Faraz Haider Kazmi has shed light on the supreme sacrifice given by Hazrat Imam Hussain and his companions. 

In Raiwind, the procession of Shabih Zuljinah has been taken out from Imambargah Qasre Sakina.

In Faisalabad, the procession of Sunni taazia is presently passing through different routes to reach its destination. 

A large number of people are present in the procession. 

In Jaranwala, the main procession has been taken out from the Central Imambargah Qasr-e-Batool.

In Khanqah Dogran, the main procession has been taken out from Imambargah Hussainia.

In Sadiqabad, the procession of Youm-e-Ashur has been taken out from Imambargah Qasr-e-Rubab. 

A large number of mourners have participated in it. 

In Jahanian, the procession is passing through different routes on its way to Saddar Bazaar.

Strict security arrangements have been made to prevent any unpleasant incident. 

In Attock, the main procession has been taken out from Imambargah Hussainian. 

In Khanewal, the main procession has been taken out from Imambargah Hussainia and is passing through different routes to reach its destination. 

Muharram processions in Sindh

In Karachi, the main procession in connection with the 10th of Muharram has been taken out from Nishtar Park and is presently passing through different routes.

In Hyderabad, the main procession has been taken out from Qadamgah Maula Ali (RA).

Mourning procession in Quetta

In Quetta, the main procession has been taken out from Nachari Imambargah, Alamdar Road. 

Tasbeeh displayed

A tasbeeh, made of dust from Karbala, was put on display at Imambargah Gulistan-e-Zahra on Abbott Road in Lahore for the mourners to behold.
