TikToker Alishba Anjum garnered fame through making entertaining videos on the social media app.
During an engrossing conversation in an interview, Alishba revealed that she doesn’t feel comfortable in Shalwar Kameez.
Alishba Anjum is the sister of another TikTok sensation Jannat Mirza.
The famous TikTokers are mostly observed donning western attire in their clips and the host felt compelled to ask why that is so.
Alishba’s response to her mostly wearing western ensemble was: she will wear whatever she pleases.
It seems that the host was adamant to get his point across when he gave the example of Kate Middleton coming to Pakistan and choosing to wear the traditional attire of the nation which was immensely appreciated by the public.
To this Alishba responded, “See that’s the thing. She came here and wore Shalwar Kameez, whenever any Pakistani goes abroad and wears pant shirt people start criticizing them”.
Is there some kind of competition going on Alishba?
The persistent host then inquired whether Alishba wears Shalwar Kameez while visiting abroad and the TikToker responded with a simple “I don’t feel comfortable in Shalwar Kameez”.
Can we just add that Shalwar Kameez is the most comfortable and eye-pleasing attire ever invented?
