The process of submitting nomination papers to the election commission for by-polls in four constituencies in Lahore is in full swing, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Sunday.

Former PTI lawmaker Nazir Chohan submitted his nomination as the PML-N candidate.  The last date for submitting the nomination papers is the 7th of the ongoing month and 150 candidates filed nomination papers.

Nazir Chohan submitted nomination papers to contest for PP-167 on the PML-N ticket. The PML-N leaders including Shaista Pervaiz Malik, Ali Pervaiz Malik, Kanwal Liaquat Advocate, Syed Tauseef Shah, Mian Saleem, Mian Amir Shaukat, and Ajmal Hashmi were present on the occasion. 

They welcomed the former PTI leader to their party and expressed the resolve that the newcomer will play his part for better public service delivery by the party.

Nazir Chauhan took swipe at the PTI leadership and said he would continue playing his role in strengthening democracy.

He said Imran Khan should be made the prime minister by holding elections on social media.  He said he joined the PTI thinking of bringing about a change but to no avail.
