Gold price witnesses whooping hike

The price of gold Monday witnessed a huge increase, due to the depreciation in the value of Pakistani rupees, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The price of per tola gold spiked by Rs2800 per tola. With this increase, the price of per tola gold reached Rs142,000.

According to Sindh Sarafa Bazar Association, the price of 10-gram gold reached Rs121,742.

In the international market, the price of gold per ounce increased by $3. The international rate for gold per ounce has now reached $1854.
