Two killed as bomb explodes near South Waziristan school

Trader escapes explosion outside his house in Peshawar

Two people were killed and three others were injured in bomb blast near a government school in South Waziristan District on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, some unidentified militants planted explosive material adjacent to a school located in Molay Khan Bazaar which later exploded with a bang.

Police said the deceased were identified as Malik Dawood and Khoon Jan while the injured were named as Junaid, Abid and Shahid.

According to police, all the victims including dead and injured were local residents who were shifted to a nearby hospital.

A heavy contingent of police has been rushed to the blast site.

Blast outside Peshawar trader’s house

A blast rocked Faqirabad locality on Ring Road in Peshawar on Tuesday. The explosion took place outside the house a spare parts trader.

According to police, 200 grams of explosive material was used and there were no casualties in the incident, except house’s main gate was partially damaged.

Police said they have collected evidence from the site and further investigation was under way.
