10-year-old boy arrested after 7-month-old missing girl found dead in Pindi

A seven-month-old missing girl was found dead in a drain in Rawalpindi district of Punjab province on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, the tragic incident occurred in the Ratta Amral area.

The deceased has been identified as Maryam, who went missing on Thursday, police added.

On the complaint of her relatives, a 10-year-old boy was taken into custody, police sources said.

Police added that CCTV footage from different angles has been obtained, and investigations are underway.
