Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi meets Iranian counterpart in Tehran

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday met his Iranian counterpart Sikander Momeni in Tehran during an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral engagement between the two neighbouring countries.

According to reports by IRNA and Tasnim news agencies, Naqvi is also scheduled to hold meetings with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and other senior Iranian officials during his stay in Tehran.

The visit comes at a time when Pakistan is playing an important role in efforts aimed at reaching an agreement between Iran and the United States to end the ongoing war.
