Kerosene oil price hiked by Rs8.70 per litre

The federal government has increased the price of kerosene oil by Rs8.70 per litre with effect from June 6, 2026, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

After the increase of Rs8.70 per liter, the new price of kerosene oil is Rs280.70 per litre.

Earlier, the kerosene oil was being sold at Rs272 per litre.

On June 5, 2026, the federal government reduced the price of petrol by Rs4 per litre while keeping the price of high-speed diesel unchanged. 

The reduction marks the fourth consecutive adjustment, providing relief to consumers amid recent declines in international oil prices.

Recent weekly revisions have already lowered fuel costs for motorists and transport operators.

According to the notification, the price of petrol fell to Rs 376 per litre from Rs 381.78, while the price of high-speed diesel remained unchanged at Rs 380 per litre.
