Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar’s daughter, Hijab Khalil has opened up about the criticism she faced on social media over her dressing style, saying people targeted her even though she never considered her outfits inappropriate.
During a recent interview, Hijab recalled how online criticism intensified after her father made comments about an actress’s clothing.
According to her, the discussion quickly shifted towards her own appearance and fashion choices.
“My father had commented on an actress's clothing, and while I do dress in a Gen-Z style, I do not dress in a vulgar way. Even then, social media came after me,” she said.
Hijab shared that she was surprised by the reaction, as she had no connection to the controversy being discussed.
She said many people began judging her style simply because of her father’s remarks.
Talking about social media, Hijab noted that online users often make personal comments instead of focusing on the actual issue.
She added that she became part of the debate despite not being directly involved in it.
