Lahore Safari Zoo to stay shut for maintenance ahead of Eid

The Lahore Safari Zoo will remain closed for 15 days starting March 11 as authorities undertake essential maintenance and infrastructure upgrades, officials confirmed on Wednesday.

According to a Punjab Wildlife and Parks Department spokesperson, the temporary closure will allow for annual construction work and facility improvements ahead of the Eid holidays. During this period, all animals will undergo thorough medical examinations to ensure their health and well-being.

The Lahore Safari Zoo undergoes periodic renovations to enhance visitor experience and improve living conditions for its wildlife. Officials have assured that the zoo will reopen before Eid with upgraded amenities, offering a better experience for families and nature enthusiasts.
