Zahid Khan appointed as PML-N Additional Secretary Information 

PML-N president and former prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has appointed Zahid Khan as PML-N Additional Secretary Information, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

PML-N Secretary General Ahsen Iqbal has issued the notification of Zahid Khan’s appointment. Zahid Khan, one of the diehard followers of the late Bacha Khan and ANP’s former senator, on Sunday parted ways with his party and has recently joined PML-N. 

Zahid Khan served as spokesman for ANP and represented it at the Centre for the last 34 years. He made the announcement at a function held in the Odigram area in the presence of PML-N provincial president Amir Muqam and a large number of people. 

The ex-senator said he was joining the PML-N on the invitation of Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, adding that the invitation had been extended to him during a meeting held in London last year.
