Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes delight fans with a rare joint appearance as they celebrate her 52nd birthday on late-night television, giving a glimpse into their famously private relationship while promoting his upcoming film.

Hollywood star Ryan Gosling made a rare public appearance alongside longtime partner Eva Mendes during an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where the couple marked Mendes 52nd birthday in a cheerful on-air celebration.

The pair known for keeping their personal life largely out of the spotligh, appeared relaxed and happy as they joined host Jimmy Fallon on the show.

Audience members welcomed them warmly while a marching band unveiled a large “Happy Birthday Eva!” sign and colorful confetti filled the studio.

Mendes opted for a casual yet stylish look, wearing loose-fit jeans paired with a printed black shirt and a blue-striped cardigan. Gosling kept things classic in a black shirt, trousers and a dark grey blazer.

The couple also shared a sweet backstage moment, chatting with Fallon while Mendes linked arms with Gosling, a rare display of affection from the famously private pair.

Gosling and Mendes first met in 2011 while filming the crime drama The Place Beyond the Pines and have been together ever since. The couple share two daughters, Esmeralda, 11, and Amada, nine.

During the interview, Gosling also spoke about his upcoming science-fiction film Project Hail Mary, which is set to hit theaters on March 20.

The story follows a science teacher who wakes up alone on a spaceship on a mission to save Earth.

The actor revealed that his daughters played an important role in shaping the film. “They’ve seen multiple cuts and give me honest feedback,” he shared, joking that they are the only critics he truly listens to.

Meanwhile, Mendes recently showed her support for the project on social media, calling Gosling her “Valentine” while promoting the film.
