After the massive success of Turkish drama serial ‘Dirilis: Ertugrul’ Prime Minister Imran Khan wants you to watch another Turkish drama serial.

Taking to Twitter, PTI leader Faisal Javed Khan said: “After Dirilis: Ertugrul PM Imran Khan wants Yunus Emre يونس امره (Aşkin Yolculuğu) to be telecast in Pakistan. Yunus Emre (the Dervish) was an Islamic poet, a mystic & a poor villager. Story of a great Sufi wholly dedicated to ALLAH & searching for unity. Yet another hit created by Mehmet Bozdag is a Journey of Transformation,” the senator shared on Twitter.

Yunus Emre was well versed in mystical philosophy, esp that of the 13th-century poet and mystic Jalaluddin Rumi. Serial is a great example of meticulous attention to detail work,” he added.

In a minute-and-a-half long video clip, the PM commented, “We’ve always had content from Hollywood and Bollywood which was then being showcased here. A third end culture was being promoted. That’s why I want our youth to know the difference between our values and theirs.”

He went on to add, “We have a culture with romance and history as well, however, it is also filled with Islamic values. Sadly, the content from Bollywood is full of vulgarity, which wasn’t the case three or four decades ago.”
