May 6, 2022 11:06 AM

Rain and cool breeze in different parts of Punjab, including Lahore, early Friday morning turned the weather pleasant, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

At the same time, the change in weather resulted in improvement in the city’s air quality as well.

Traffic jams on Jail Road, Ferozepur Road and other main arteries of the provincial capital due to rain created inconvenience for the motorists as well.

Thundershowers in Arifwala and the surrounding areas led to drop in temperatures, providing much-needed respite to the heat-stricken people.

It also rained in Vehari, Manchanabad, Kasur, Kot Radha Kishan and suburbs.

The Met Office, on the other hand, predicted pleasant weather for different parts of the province for the next few days.

It also forecast cloudy weather and light rain for Islamabad, Murree, Galyat and vicinity while rain for Dir, Abbottabad, Chitral and Kurram areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

On the other hand, cool see breeze has started blowing in Karachi. And the maximum temperature in the port city is expected to go up to 36 degrees Celsius.
