24 cops suspended for facilitating drug peddlers in Nawabshah

In a major action against corruption, Deputy Inspector-General (DIG) of Police Shaheeed Benazirabad, Faisal Bashir Memon, suspended 24 corrupt policemen for facilitating drug peddlers, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Wednesday.
Seven policemen belonged to Shaheed Benazirabad, eleven to district Sanghar, and five to district Naushero Feroz.
DIG Faisal Bashir Memon said that there is no place for big fish in the police department. He said that the zero-tolerance policy against corruption will be adopted; anyone found involved in corruption will be dealt with as per the law.
