As the Met Gala 2026 dominates global social media conversations, Pakistani celebrities have joined the buzz in a creative and unexpected way by showcasing stunning AI-generated dream looks without ever stepping onto the real red carpet.

The digital trend, which has taken over Instagram, features stars imagining their Met Gala appearances through AI-crafted fashion visuals. 

Leading the trend, Srha Asghar shared her AI generated Met Gala look on Instagram, captioning it: “Yes it’s true... I was invited to the Met Gala 2026, Haters will say it’s fake!” In the image, she is seen in a grand champagne gold ballgown featuring intricate floral embroidery, sequins, and a flowing cape that adds a regal red carpet drama.

Similarly, Qudsia Ali joined the trend with a carousel of AI visuals, presenting herself in a dusty rose ballgown made of layered tulle and organza. The outfit is adorned with 3D floral detailing, giving it a dreamy, blooming aesthetic inspired by high-fashion fantasy couture.

The creative wave continued with celebrity couple Rabya Kulsoom and Rehan Nazim, who reimagined themselves as part of a Marvel-inspired concept. Their AI looks featured matching midnight-black glitter ensembles enhanced with metallic tentacle-like structures, creating a bold, sci-fi red carpet vision.

Meanwhile, Azfar Rehman opted for a more conceptual approach, sharing his AI Met Gala outfit inspired by Antoni Gaudí’s architectural masterpiece La Pedrera. In his caption, he humorously asked whether his imagined look would have been a hit on the red carpet.

The trend quickly sparked reactions across social media, with users reacting with laughter, admiration, and playful confusion some even jokingly believing the stars had actually received Met Gala invitations.
