First online FIR registered in Karachi from New York

A new example of innovation has been established in the Sindh Police as the first online case was registered in Karachi from New York, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

A citizen sitting in America Kamran made a request on the portal that his father's car was stolen, on which the East Police registered a case of car theft.

According to the text of the case, a citizen named Rizwan Ashraf alias Jholelal stole the plaintiff's father's car and sold it for Rs 65,000 with a fake signature.

The accused also prepared fake documents worth Rs7,000 while the vehicle disappeared from outside Gulshan Jamal's house on October 20 and the matter came to light.

However, the case was registered in Shahrah Faisal Police Station under the complaint of Kamran.
