Robbers shoot dead citizen on resistance in Shikarpur

Bandits shot dead a citizen on resistance in Rustam area of Shikarpur on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, some robbers were trying to snatch motorcycle from Amanullah and they shoot him on giving resistance.

Police shifted the body of the deceased to a nearby hospital and registered a case against unidentified dacoits.

In another incident, dacoits attacked on a petrol pump and kidnapped owner of petrol station Ayyub and two employees Kifayatullah and Junaid Ali near Dakhan in the jurisdiction of Badhu police station.

Sources said the residents of Shikarpur area heard the screams of the hostages and chased the robbers, where the residents of the area and the robbers cross fired and the dacoits fled towards Kacha leaving the three persons injured.

Due to the late arrival of the Shikarpur police, the locals started protest against police after which SSP Shikarpur reached the spot.

Shikarpur SSP Khalid Mustafa Korai took the details of the incident and sent a heavy police force in pursuit of the robbers.
