Court to indict Saba Qamar, Bilal Saeed in Mosque sanctity case

A Lahore District Court on Wednesday has fixed a date to indict Actress Saba Qamar and Singer Bilal Saeed for filming a video at Masjid Wazir Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV.
The court summoned the witnesses on October 14 to record their testimony, where the accused will be given challan copies.
The case of Bilal was heard by Judicial Magistrate Javeria Munir Bhatti. Saba Qamar was also appeared there, attired in Burqa.
Earlier, the court has summoned Saba and Bilal as their challan was presented but both of them did not appear. Both were granted bail against surety bonds of Rs30,000 each.
In 2020, Akbari Gate police have registered the case of dancing in the mosque and had already presented the challan in the court on the complaint of lawyer Farhat Manzoor for violating the sanctity of the Wazir Khan Mosque.
