“Zahir Shah to be next Deputy Chairman NAB”

After the resignation of Hussain Asghar, Deputy Chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), the government high ups started considerations for the new suitable personality for the post.

According to 24News HD TV Channel, the government authorities had started considering the name of the NAB Director General Headquarters Islamabad Zahir Shah for appointing him as next Deputy Chairman NAB.

The NAB sources said that at this time, DG Headquarters Islamabad Zahir Shah was one of the senior-most officers of the bureau.

According to sources, the final approval for the appointment of Zahir Shah would be given by the President of Pakistan.

Earlier today, President Arif Alvi accepted the resignation tendered by the Deputy Chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Hussain Asghar.

The Ministry of Law and Justice has also issued the notification of acceptance of his resignation.
