Pakistani, Russian diplomats meet ahead of Moscow format consultations on Afghanistan

An important meeting between Pakistani and Russian diplomats was held on Monday, ahead of the Moscow format consultations on Afghanistan.

Pakistan's Special Representative for Afghanistan Muhammad Sadiq Khan met his Russian counterpart Ambassador Zamir Kabulov in Mosscow.

Khan released details of the meeting on the social networking website X. Measures to promote regional cooperation were discussed at the meeting, said Khan.

Pakistan's Ambassador to Kabul Obaidur Rehman Nizamani was also present at the meeting, Khan said.

Khan also released photos of the meeting.
