Pakistan Cricket star and former captain of Pakistan cricket team, Shahid Khan Afridi on Saturday inaugurated restoration of the only book library of district Tank which had been closed for last 20 years.

Addressing the public on the occasion, chairman of Shahid Afiridi Foundation (SAF) Shahid Afridi said that getting education is a fundamental right of every child however in our country over 30 million children had no access to education.

He said that there was no dearth of sports talent in district Tank and SAF would soon inaugurate a cricket academy in the district to hunt this talent and produce quality players for nation. 

The chairman announced continuing his organizations' support for resolution of public issues in Tank and saying efforts would be made to overcome the drinking water issue of Tank.

On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Kabir Khan Afridi, Assistant Commissioner Yousaf Jatoi, local elders and leaders of political and social organizations were also present who thanked Shahid Afridi for his resolve to support the people of Tank.
