Deaf and dumb girl raped in Punjab village

A teen deaf and dumb girl was allegedly raped in the village of Nowshera Warkan near Gujranwala in Punjab, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

According to the victim’s mother, the girl went to a shop when a local abducted her and fled after committing the crime.

Police have registered the case and launched a hunt for the fugitive.

The victim’s mother said she was receiving threats from the accused.

She made an appeal to the Punjab chief minister and the police chief to help her get justice.
