Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi congratulated the entire nation and the Muslim Ummah on the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday. 

In his message, Mohsin Naqvi said 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal is the holiest day when that great personality emerged for whom Allah said: “And He has not sent us except as a mercy to the worlds.” 

On the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the world saw the face of light, darkness was defeated, and humanity found the true meaning of justice and mercy, Mohsin Naqvi said.

He said the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the hour of light when the gates of heaven opened, mercy descended on the earth, and the entire universe became illuminated. 

Mohsin Naqvi said becoming truthful and trustworthy, he lit the lamp of honesty and integrity in the merciless atmosphere of Mecca. 

His mission shattered every idol of ignorance and showed humanity the path of truth and wisdom, Mohsin Naqvi said.

Mohsin Naqvi said, the supreme deeds of the Seal of the Prophets, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), are the best example for us. 

In the state of Medina, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) integrated society, politics and justice into a moral and economic system, Mohsin Naqvi said.

Mohsin Naqvi said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) gave an exemplary social and economic system that is a beacon for the entire world. 

He (PBUH) made the mosque a center of worship as well as a source of education, justice and love, Mohsin Naqvi said.

His mercy towards slaves, orphans and the weak is the pillar of the justice system till the Day of Judgment, Mohsin Naqvi said.

Mohsin Naqvi said by forgiving the enemies on the day of the conquest of Mecca, he (PBUH) gave humanity a new ascension. 

Unfortunately, the Muslim Ummah has forgotten the enlightened teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and this is the main reason for its decline, Mohsin Naqvi added.

Mohsin Naqvi said for progress, prosperity, peace and stability, we will have to follow the example of the Prophet (PBUH) in the true sense.

He said 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal is the day of renewal of the pledge to make the life of Muhammad (PBUH) the mirror of our lives.
