Gold price slips by Rs3,000 per tola in Pakistan
The prices of gold plummeted in the local market on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs3,000 to settle at Rs488,462 compared to Rs491,462 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold declined by Rs2,572 to Rs418,777 from Rs421,349, whereas 10 grams of 22-karat gold went down by Rs2,358 to Rs383,892 against Rs386,250.
In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $30 to $4,657 per ounce from $4,687.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged at Rs7,744, while the price of 10 grams of silver also stayed constant at Rs6,639. The price of silver in the international market remained unchanged at $72.60 per ounce.
