Islamabad United player recovering after head injury during training

Islamabad United said on Tuesday that player Mir Hamza Sajjad was recovering after being hit on the head by a ball during a training session in Lahore, 24NewsHD TV reported.  

The Pakistan Super League franchise said the incident occurred during a net session, forcing the suspension of practice.

The player was immediately taken to a hospital, where he was being monitored by Dr Owais, the team said.

Islamabad United added that Mir Hamza Sajjad had regained consciousness and that his condition was improving.
