People aged 50 or above most vulnerable to 4th corona wave: Asad
Federal Minister for Planning and Development and NCOC head Asad Umar has announced that 33 percent of the 50 years or older people had received at least one vaccine dose against the coronavirus, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a tweet uploaded on Saturday, the federal minister stated that four weeks back 21 percent of the 27.2 million Pakistanis aged 50 and above had received a single dose of the vaccine Asad Omar said that this rate has now increased to 33 percent.

The minister further said that people aged 50 and above are most vulnerable to serious disease due to COVID-19. “Please particularly encourage those in this age group to vaccinate,” he added.
On the other hand, according to a statement issued by the National Command and Operations Center, 57,233 tests were conducted in the country during the last 24 hours (Friday), of which 4,720 were tested positive.
