The Lahore High Court (LHC) Monday issued a notice to the additional chief secretary (home) and sought a reply from him on a plea of Qaisara Elahi for a meeting with her husband Pervaiz Elahi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Justice Raheel Kamran Sheikh conducted the hearing on the plea of Qaisara Elahi, wife of former Punjab chief minister Pervaiz Elahi.

Qaisara Elahi had moved the LHC for a meeting with her husband.

It merits a mention here that former Punjab chief minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi has been serving in prison for the past several weeks in corruption cases.
