Illegal promotions of paramedical staff terminated in Punjab

Punjab Specialized Health Department has terminated the promotion of paramedical staff in grades 17 to 18 over illegal promotions, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

A four-tier service structure was accepted for paramedics in 2011. The medical technologist, biochemist and microbiologist were given illegal promotion in grade 18. 

Punjab Specialized Health Department has made it clear that only Secretary of Specialized Health is the only competent authority for appointments in grades 17 and 18.
