Saudi Arabian government has directed its Hajj and Umrah Ministry to start issuing Umrah visas to Pakistani pilgrims, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The Saudi ministry also issued the directive for the visas and now Pakistani pilgrims can fly directly to the kingdom for performing Umrah.

The pilgrims who had been vaccinated with double dose are exempted from spending time in quarantine in Saudi Arabia.

However, Umrah pilgrims with a single dose will have to spend five days in quarantine.

The Saudi ministry has appealed to the Pakistani pilgrims to contact government-registered travel agents for obtaining visas.
