The abduction of a 11 days old girl from Baldia Town, Karachi had its drop scene on Wednesday after the woman, from whose hands the girl had been snatched, confessed to police that she was not the mother, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Ainy Begum told the police that she had obtained the baby girl from her friend and staged a drama of abduction only to blackmail her husband.

“The woman had told the police about the family doctor,” police said.

“Suspicious arose after the statement of the family doctor,” they added.

“When the woman was investigated further, it was revealed that the baby girl was not hers,” they stated.

It is to be noted here that unidentified persons had snatched the baby girl from the woman in Baldia Town, Karachi on Tuesday.

The woman had got an abduction case lodged with police, pretending to be the mother of the girl.
