A 35-year-old woman and her 10-year-old son were strangled to death inside their home by unidentified persons in Sahiwal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Police and Crime Scene Unit and Forensic Science Experts sealed the site and collected the evidence. 

As per the preliminary investigation, the double murder seems to be an incident of personal enmity as gold jewelry and other precious things were found present safely inside the home. 

Police have registered a case and an investigation has been started to trace the culprits.
