Mobile phones worth Rs40 million seized at Multan Airport

Customs staff have seized a large quantity of contraband items including expensive mobile phones worth millions of rupees at Multan’s International Airport.
According to press release issued by the Collectorate of Customs Airports (Lahore), acting on information, Customs staff at Multan Airport conducted a thorough scanning and body search of passengers arriving from Dubai on FlyDubai flight FZ-339.
The staff’s search led to the discovery of unattended bags near the baggage belt. Upon scanning and searching these bags, a significant quantity of contraband items was seized.
These items included 158 expensive mobile phones worth Rs40 million, five bottles of liquor and Sheesha flavor, the press release added.
