Sarfaraz Metlo elected Sindh High Court Bar president
Sarfaraz Ali Metlo was elected president of the Sindh High Court Bar Association (SHCBA) on Saturday.
Metlo obtained 2,971 votes while his rival candidate Haseeb Jamali got 2,264 votes. In his victory speech, Metlo thanked God for rewarding him with success and dedicated his victory to his voters and supports. He vowed to work for lawyers’ welfare in the next year of his tenure.
According to the election results, Muhammad Rahib Lakho was elected vice president, Mirza Sarfaraz Ahmad general secretary, Wasim Saif joint secretary, Taimur Mirza treasurer and Faiqa Ameen additional joint secretary.
