Federal govt appoints Qamar-uz-Zaman as ETPB Chairman

The federal government has appointed Qamar-uz-Zaman as chairman of the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to a notification issued by the Establishment Division, Qamar-uz-Zaman's appointment has been made for a three-year term under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.

As per the notification, the newly appointed chairman will receive a monthly salary and perks equivalent to the MP-I scale. 

The notification added that the appointment takes immediate effect and will remain in force until further orders.
