Though it has been well over two and a half years since the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) had been merged into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but the doubts are still being cast on whether the administrative structure is there to help the people of the violence-torn region.

According to an exclusive report by 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday, the administrative offices of the South Waziristan District are now being built in Tank and the citizens have no other option left but to travel to Tank to get their problems redressed.

The TMO offices of the South Waziristan District’s Ladha and Saroyakayi tehsils being built in Tank. Sports Complex sanction for Tehsil Sararogha will now be built in Tank.

South Waziristan District’s judicial and Nadra officer had already been built in Tank.

The district administration was of the view that the construction of offices in Tank is being preferred due to the lack of basic facilities in South Waziristan District.
