Police claimed to have arrested six people on charges of gambling in Liaquatpur, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

The lawmen made the arrests as the detainees were engaged in gambling on banned cockfight.  The cops also took the birds in custody. A case has been registered and started investigation. Scores of people were booked.
