PIA suspends airhostess involved in smuggling of smartphones

The management of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Friday suspended an air hostess who was involved in smuggling of latest smart phones during checking process by customs officials at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA), 24NewsHD TV channel.
The management of PIA also issued a show-cause notice to the said airhostess and started investigations against her.
Sources said that after investigation if she was found involved in smuggling of smart phones then stern action will be taken against her as per PIA’s laws.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PIA already adopted zero tolerance policy against smuggling.
He further directed that anyone who found involved in smuggling should be dealt as per law.
