'Thought he was gay': Farah Khan reveals shocking thing about husband
Bollywood director and choreographer Farah Khan made her appearance on Archana Puran Singh's YouTube channel and talked about how her bond with her husband developed.
She revealed the shocking news that she used to hate her husband for the first six months after marriage as she thought he was gay.
Then the host Archana asked if she still hated him, to which the filmmaker replied, “No. Now, I am used to him. It’s been 20 years now.”
The filmmaker revealed how her husband used to get angry earlier, and it used to annoy them as he would just keep quiet and torture them by not talking.
In addition to this, Farah was asked who apologizes first during their arguments. Farah replied, “No one says sorry. Shirish has never apologized to me in 20 years.” She jokingly said, “Because he is never wrong.”
Farah also shared, “If he talks and I even glance at my phone, he’ll walk out.”

Also, in an interview with Nova IVF Fertility, Farah Khan revealed, “For the first five-six months, there were only lows, because they were retrieving eggs and planting them, and I don’t know how many times I must have gone under general anesthesia.”
She added, “The first time I went to the doctor I was so sure that I was pregnant, but I literally got my period in her office. So I used to be sobbing all the way back to the shoot.”

During the lighthearted conversation, Farah also revealed that she wanted to “run away" during the first year of their marriage as it was very difficult for her to adjust.
For the unversed, Shirish Kunder was an editor on Farah Khan’s directorial Main Hoon Na. It is where they met, as revealed by the filmmaker. They have since worked together on each other's films, such as Jaan-E-Mann, Om Shanti Om, and Tees Maar Khan.
