Unknown assailants shot dead a Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officer in Lakki Marwat city on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle targeted CTD Constable Abdul Rehman at Degree College Shen Bagh Chowk in Lakki Marwat.

According to the police sources, the suspected attackers managed to escape from the scene after committing the crime.

The police cordoned off the crime scene, collected evidence and started an investigation.
