Hamza Ali Abbasi gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Afzal in the 2013 drama Pyarey Afzal and Salahuddin in the 2016 serial Mann Mayal. That same year, he made his mark in Pakistani cinema with roles in two feature films, Main Hoon Shahid Afridi and Waar, earning him the awards for Best Star Debut Male and Best Supporting Actor.
In 2022, he delivered a powerful performance as the main antagonist, Noori Natt, in The Legend of Maula Jatt. The film became both the highest-grossing Pakistani movie of all time and the highest-grossing Punjabi-language film globally.
Naimal Khawar also won hearts in a short span of time, notably for her role as Izza in the hit drama serial Anaa. Beyond acting, she is a natural artist and a former student of the National College of Arts.
Reportedly, Shoaib Mansoor discovered her after seeing her pictures on social media and encouraged her to audition. Reflecting on her journey, she once said, “I am a visual artist and a painter. I did some theatre in college but never thought of pursuing acting.”
In one of her interviews, when asked about her dream role, she shared, “I would love to play a female version of James Bond. A Bond with a female protagonist would be quite interesting.”
