Rawalpindi admin bans public gatherings till July 9

The district administration has banned gatherings, rallies, protests, sit-ins, pillion riding, oxen race, etc. in Rawalpindi till July 9 next, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

All these activities were banned on the recommendation of police due to security concerns.

Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner Hassan Waqar Cheema also issued a notification in this regard.
