Fissure in Jaranwala canal affects nearby villages

There was a fissure of 50-feet wide in the Shahkot distributary area of Jardanwala police station Balochni, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.


As a result of crack in canal, water rushed into the nearby villages and the nearby villages were affected and the standing crops were feared to be destroyed.


As soon as the incident was reported, Assistant Commissioner Abdul Hanan Khan reached the spot immediately.
