Bird hits plane carrying LHC judge at Lahore Airport

A major disaster was averted as a Turkish Airlines flight carrying a high court judge had to return back to Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) after a bird struck the plane on Monday, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel, quoting sources.
According to details, Turkish Airlines flight TK-0745 was forced to return soon after the bird hit the aircraft following take-off for the United Kingdom (UK) via Istanbul.
Justice Jawad Hassan of the Lahore High Court (LHC) was also among the passengers who were going to Britain via Istanbul.
Airport authorities started the process to determine the actual damaged that occurred due to the bird strike.
The decision was still pending about the departure of the flight.
