Man guns down parents, brother over domestic dispute in Peshawar

A man shot dead his parents and brother over a domestic dispute in Peshawar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Sarband Police Station in Peshawar. Police said that the accused opened fire on his father, mother, and brother and escaped from the scene,

Soon after receiving the report, a police team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies to a local hospital for autopsy.

Earlier on July 3, 2026, three people, including two women, were shot dead in an alleged honour killing incident in the Matta Mughal area within the jurisdiction of Shabqadar police station.

Police had registered a triple murder case and launched an investigation, while the suspects remained at large.

According to the first information report (FIR) lodged by sub-inspector Khan Mohammad Khan, the police registered a case on their own after no member of the victims’ families reported the incident.
