PIA's passenger from Lahore dies shortly after landing in Karachi
A passenger who arrived from Lahore died after suddenly collapsing at the parking area of Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday.
According to officials, the passenger lost consciousness moments after reaching the airport's parking area.
Following a citizen's alert, a doctor from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) examined the passenger and confirmed that he had died.
The deceased was identified as Muhammad Arshad.
Officials said Muhammad Arshad had travelled from Lahore to Karachi on PIA flight PK-304.
He was a former employee of the national flag carrier.
His national identity card, passport and airline ticket were recovered from his belongings.
Airport authorities said the body was shifted to the PIA Medical Centre to complete legal formalities.
