Saba Faisal shares etiquette rule every TV host should follow

Saba Faisal has revealed an important lesson in professionalism that she learned during her early days as a television host.

Saba revealed that she was trained never to sit cross-legged while interviewing guests.

During her era, hosts were instructed to keep both legs together and maintain a respectful posture throughout the interview.

Explaining the reason behind the rule, she said every guest who appears on a show should be treated as if they are visiting your home.

According to her, it is a sign of respect particularly when interviewing senior or distinguished personalities and sitting cross-legged in front of them was considered inappropriate.

Saba Faisal added that the lesson stayed with her throughout her career and became a value she also passed on to her children.

A veteran actress and former newscaster, Saba Faisal began her career with Pakistan Television (PTV) in 1981 before transitioning to acting.

Over the years, she has become one of Pakistan's most recognizable television stars, earning praise for her performances in popular dramas such as Durr-e-Shehwar, Humsafar, Pyarey Afzal, Mere Humsafar, Khaie, and Mein Manto Nahin Hoon.

She continues to remain an active figure in acting and giving opinion on different issues related to industry.
